What types of equipment does G&L repair?
We repair most outdoor power equipment including brushcutters, chainsaws, edgers, trimmers, generators, mowers, tractors, leaf blowers, power washers, riding mowers, rototillers, snow blowers, walk behinds, zero turns and more.
Is G&L an authorized warranty service center?
Yes, we are an authorized warranty service center for our equipment lines Generac and Poulan Pro. In addition, we are authorized to perform warranty service for many other brands of equipment including; Dixon, Jonsered, Mantis, MTD, Troy-Bilt and more.
What brands of equipment does G&L service?
We service most makes and models including Briggs & Stratton, Craftsman, Dixon, Dolmar, Echo, Generac, Honda, John Deere, Jonsered, Kohler, Mantis, MTD, Poulan, Poulan Pro, Shindaiwa, Snapper, Stihl, Tecumseh, Toro, Weed Eater and more.
My equipment is old and may not be worth repairing. How much does G&L charge for an estimate?
At G&L, estimates are always free. When you bring in your equipment, be sure to tell us you would like an estimate before any repair work is started.

Does G&L accept trade-ins on old equipment toward a discount on something new?
Yes, your trade-in value will be determined by the type and age of the equipment being turned in.
What if my machine is old and the company no longer makes replacement parts? Can G&L help?
We will do our best. We have a variety of older OEM, after market parts and used parts.
What type of replacement parts does G&L have in stock?
We have many brands of air filters, chainsaw bars, batteries, belts, blades, breathers, cables, carburetors, chainsaw chains, inner tubes, tires, oil and lubricants, pulleys, spark plugs, spindles, tiller tines, trimmer line and more.
What if my replacement part isn't in stock and I'm in a hurry?
No problem, if you are in a rush for the part we can have it shipped to us within two days for an additional freight charge.
Does G&L offer tune-ups?
Yes, there's no reason to wait until your equipment needs repair. Bring it in before and after each season for routine maintenance.
Basic tune-ups include:
- Oil Change
- Replace Spark Plug
- Test Ignition
- Service Air Cleaners
- Adjust Carburetor
- Inspect & Adjust Belts
- Minor Adjustments
Additional labor costs may be required for extra repairs. Let us know if you would like an estimate before additional work is completed.
I purchased my equipment somewhere else and it's still under warranty. Can G&L repair it for me?
Yes, bring in your original receipt and we will take care of the rest.
What type of repairs are not covered by warranty?
- Damage caused by improper fuel mix, stale fuel, ect.
- Parts that fail due to wear and tear; belts, blades, spark plugs, etc.
- Damage caused by improper lubrication
- Damage caused by abuse or neglect
I can't bring my equipment to you. Does G&L pick up and deliver?
Yes, the pick up and delivery charge varies by distance. Call 440-967-9192 for pricing and to schedule pick up time.
How long will it take for my equipment to be fixed?
In peak season it can take about two weeks. Let us know if you have a deadline and need it quicker.
Does G&L sharpen mower blades and mulching blades? What about my chain saw chains?
Yes, but if you need them sharpened same day, please call us in advance. You may drop off items to be sharpened anytime.
